Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and Subordinate Offices. This Commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2016 North Western Region Cut off Marks
After the examination, SSC will upload CHSL 2016 official answer keys and OMR Sheet on their official website. They answer keys will also be available on the SSC’s regional websites. All candidates who have appeared in CHSL 2016 exam will be able to download their OMR answer sheet.
SSC CHSL Cut Off Marks 2016
The cutoff marks are the minimum required marks to clear the first state of examination. All candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks to jump in tier 2. The SSC CHSL 2016 Cut off Marks will be announced by SSC in April month. The cut off marks will be available on the official website of SSC.
The Staff Selection Commission will publish category wise and post wise cut off marks in April month. All successful candidates will be able to take part in tier II exam that is a descriptive test and will be conducted after the tier 1 result announcement. SSC CHSL Tier I 2016 North Western Region Cut off Marks
The Staff Selection Commission has nine Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices in different parts of the country. The regional offices are responsible for smooth and peaceful conduct of the examinations. They provide administrative support to the Headquarters for performing various activities involved in the smooth conduct of examinations, like receipt of applications from the candidates, Electronic Data processing of applications, issue of Admit Cards (ACs) to the candidates, booking of venues at various centres within their jurisdiction in consultation with the District Authorities, sending non-confidential examination material to the Centre Supervisors and appointment of Invigilators and Inspecting Officers at various examination centres. Further, Regional Offices are also responsible for holding interviews / Physical Endurance /Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Medical Examination, wherever required.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established in 1977 under resolution number 46/1/(S)/74-Estt. (B) dated 4th November, 1975. The mandate of the Commission is to conduct examinations. It makes recruitment in Group ‘C’ & Group ‘B’ Non-gazetted posts in Ministries and Departments of Govt. of India. The Commission has its Headquarters in New Delhi. There are Nine (9) Regional Offices / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission to assist in the conduct of examinations.
Main responsibilities of Staff Selection Commission’s Regional/Sub-regional Offices include, inter alia, implementing the policies & programmes of the Commission, supervising & overseeing its field operations, liaisoning & establishing rapport with State Governments & their Departments, making arrangements for impartial & smooth conduct of examinations, assisting Interview Boards & servicing the Examination Centres within their area of jurisdiction.
